Blackbeard Island National Wildlife Refuge

Blackbeard Island is where I worked as an intern for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service as well as conducted my graduate research. It is a beautiful barrier island off the coast of Georgia. It is home to some amazing wildlife, especially the majestic loggerhead sea turtles.
