Born and raised in the city of Tabriz in South Azerbaijan.

Moved to the United States in 1978.

Became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 1993.

Graduated from Mullen High School in Denver, Colorado.

Obtained a BS in Biology/Chemistry from Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Obtained a Masters degree from Western State College of Colorado (Gunnison, Colorado).

Worked on a doctorate in Chemical Education at the University of Northern Colorado (Greeley, Colorado).

I have visited 14 different countries including:

Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Austria, Germany, France, Sweden, Holland and Norway

 

I have lived in 5 states:

Nebraska, Colorado, Alabama, Kentucky, and Georgia

 

My hobbies include:

Traveling with my wonderful wife, Pamela

Reading extensively

Cooking/sampling exotic cuisine
